Olympic gold medal winning cyclist Laura Trott has become the face of Asthma UK, in support of its Big Up Your Chest Facebook campaign.

Trott, 20, born with a collapsed lung and who subsequently developed severe asthma, said of the appointment 'I hope that I can inspire other people my age with asthma through my own accomplishments and show that with the right treatment, management and attitude to asthma, it doesn't have to hold you back'.
